Nowadays it is very important to care about the information because we are living in the informational society and you can’t underestimate the way information will be used and shared. Additionally please note that our website contains numerous trademarks which can belong both to our company and third party companies. Using the logos, icons and service names is prohibited in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among our customers, and will be considered a violation of copyright law. We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notifications. Our company is located in Sheffield, United Kingdom and the laws of the United Kingdom shall govern any interpretation of these terms and conditions.

VAT

All riser recliners are shown without vat as customer purchasing these chairs for their own use or a relative purchasing for a family member, do not have to pay vat, as they are an aid to help you stand therefore making them vat exempt. All other items that are displayed are also inclusive of vat at the standard current rate. All orders placed in the UK are subject to VAT (Value Added Tax). VAT is included in our prices at the standard set rate of 20% with the exception of Riser Recliner Chairs and Adjustable Beds which are Vat zero rated and therefore shown excluding Vat. To avoid Vat being added to your order (Riser Recliner Chairs and Adjustable Beds only) you must download complete and return to Recliner Outlet a Vat exemption form. Recliner Outlet reserves the right not to process an order we feel may be Suspicious or Fraudulent. An Email Confirmation or Order Number given over the telephone does not constitute the order has been processed or that a contract has been formed with Recliner Outlet, until we have reviewed the payment Fraud Prevention Software. No contract is made with you until we have dispatched your order.

Delivery

Once an order is accepted we will email confirmation of your order and a expected delivery time frame, although we endeavour to deliver in quoted times, occasional delays may take place which are out of our control (we will keep you informed if this happens) we offer no guarantee on delivery times. Delivery times vary depending on product and our stock levels, sometimes on multiple orders (such as a riser chair and sofa) you will be offered two delivery times as your riser is available on express delivery which is normally 10 working days & sofas 6-8 weeks, so you can split your order if you wish.

Claims for loss or inconvenience etc for unexpected / unavoidable delivery delays will not be accepted.

5 Year Guarantee

Due to the quality and craftsmanship of our British Made Celebrity and Sherborne recliners they come with a full Five year Manufacturers Guarantee against any faults or defects on the Frames, Electric motors & components. In the unlikely event of a problem the manufacturer will send an engineer to fix or replace any faulty parts Free of charge. These cover all defects in workmanship and materials providing the furniture has been used in the correct way.

Warranty Issues

If during the warranty period your chair should develop a problem we require photographs of the fault which you may email to us along with a description sales@reclineroutlet.co.uk. Alternatively you may post them to us with an accompanying letter specifying the details. Which ever method you choose we will require an invoice number from you as proof of purchase. If after the warranty period has expired and a fault develops, parts can usually be sent direct from the manufacturer. If it should become necessary to return the product to the factory for repairs, the cost of packing and shipping to and from the factory is not covered in the warranty. Most repairs can be made in your home. Evidence of original ownership such as a sales invoice or other document will be required. The warranty shall not apply to any condition or defect resulting from misuse, negligence, alterations, fire or accident.

Cancellation

All orders that have been placed specifically for a customer or ‘specially made to order’ can only be cancelled within 48 hours of the order being processed by us. Cancellation will not be accepted once goods have been reserved, stored, cut or dispatched by ourselves, or by our suppliers. We will refund your payment in the same way as you have paid, this will happen within 3 days after we have emailed you to accept your refund.

A cancellation fee of £49 per item will be deducted from your refund to cover administration costs incurred by us.

Upholstery

Upholstery cover and colours may vary from batch to batch, this is a normal event in any dying process, we aim to supply to as near as possible to the sample you have selected, on screen colours are approximate and can vary within normal commercial tolerances. Exact matching cannot be guaranteed from different batches, different widths or if ordered at different times. Colours will look different in different lighting conditions which is totally normal.

Product Dimensions

All our chairs and beds are hand made by skilled craftsman, their aim is to make each and every piece identical, whilst most products are made from identically machined components to a standard specification, individual hand upholstering may vary slightly from different tradesmen. All dimensions are therefore approximate.

Due to continuous improvement in components and materials, manufacturers reserve the right to modify designs, specifications and materials without prior notification.

7 Day Money Back Guarantee

Here at Recliner Outlet we appreciate that selecting a recliner chair without trying it can be difficult, we try and describe our products best we can, we will however be delighted to assist you if you ring one of our experienced advisers for advise.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason at all you may, within 7 working days after the date of delivery, return your goods to us.

As long as we are notified by post, telephone or email within 72 Hours from the day of delivery, we will be happy to: either send replacement parts if your chair is damaged, send a brand new chair (subject to availability), or issue a full refund.

As we offer Free UK Mainland Delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to cover the charges for the carriage back to us. We can arrange collections for you if required. At a cost of £89 plus VAT per chair (the collection fee will be deducted from your refund).

All goods are in pristine perfect unused condition and packaged in original packaging. Swivel Chairs will not be accepted whatsoever once they have been assembled.

Health & Safety

(Electric Riser Recliner Chairs). When using the chair in the lift or recline position ensure that children and pets are kept away from the chair. The chair will stop immediately if you take your fingers off the hand control. To avoid accidents with children and pets whilst the chair is unsupervised, we recommend that the power supply be disconnected when the chair is not in use. When the footrest is in the open position ensure that no unnecessary downward force is applied, to prevent damage to the scissor action. Always keep the chair away from the wall to avoid the back hitting the wall and causing damage to the motor. We recommend all electric products are switched of at the mains when not in use

All orders are accepted by Recliner Outlet on these terms and conditions and agreed by you the purchaser. If unacceptable you must contact us by email within 24 hours or it will be deemed you accept these terms and conditions of sale.
